Zero waste project 4: long-sleeved shirt
Another zero waste top from the #zwcroppedshirt pattern by @birgittahelmersson, but with long sleeves and not so cropped. This one is for my mum, because she liked my first one 😁 The pattern size depends on fabric width and pieces can be adjusted easily to be wider/narrower/longer/shorter.
I started this shirt a couple of weeks ago but something came up and I was away from my machine for a while. I finally finished it yesterday, so now it’s ready to post to the other side of the world!
One downside of zero waste patterns is not having scraps to set up stitches and presser feet and stuff. My overlocking isn’t great, and I also forgot to lower the buttonhole lever on the first buttonhole – but it’s good enough and lessons were learned 😅
Made in organic cotton with mother of pearl buttons, like the first one.
