2 perfectly fitting underwire bras

I’ve done it! I now have two beautiful and perfectly fitting underwire bras ♥️

I made these with the wonderful #mayabra pattern by @afiatelier (can’t believe it’s free!), graded between multiple sizes to suit my morphology. I bought all the beautiful red materials from the lovely ladies over at @bwear.se.

I’m especially proud of the red lace one – I didn’t really know what I was doing, but (with quite a bit of unpicking and resewing) I managed to create exactly what I wanted! Fully lined cups with enclosed seams, an internal power bar, scalloped lace edges, strong enclosed strap attachment. A lot of firsts and I’m stoked with how it turned out!

3-4 months into this hobby and I can already wear 100% me-made outfits (pants, top, sweater, socks, coat, shoes, underwear). I started as a practical distraction from grieving, but didn’t expect to make peace with my body or discover a new passion.
