5 new pairs of soft high-waist undies ✨

Finally back to sewing again and I had to start with the most urgent todo on my list: 5 new pairs of soft high-waist undies ✨

The handmade pair I made this year is my absolute favorite, so I used the same pattern I drafted for my measurements with the Bare Essentials Underwear ebook by @porcelynnesupplies. All have a high waist, 3 have boy-cut legs and 2 are cheekier at the back.

I made these in a soft cotton jersey (same as my hand-sewn pair). I didn’t want/have elastic so I used fabric bands to finish all the edges. I tried 3 different top-stitches (zigzag, 3-step zigzag, double needle), and left 2 pairs without.

I really hate batch sewing (feels like a chore), but right after finishing these I really wanted matching tank bralettes to laze around in – so I’ll be making a few of those before moving on to other projects. Do you do much batch sewing?
