I finished my very first knitted jumper yesterday! Or actually first knitted anything-that’s-not-fingerless-mittens 😅
Puffy oversized sleeves and chunky oversized collar. I didn’t follow a pattern – but learned how to decrease to shape the neckline, increase to shape the wrists, and pick up stitches to make a collar 😄 It’s full of mistakes and flaws but I made it and I love it.
I’d like to try knitting another sweater from a pattern now with nicer yarn, but I’m not sure if I actually need another one (I try to keep my wardrobe pared down to the minimum).
(I do wonder why knitting patterns are written in abbreviations though instead of complete words… It makes them hard to read 😔)
