My very first pair of me-made shoes! ✨

Here is my very first pair of me-made shoes! ✨ I think I’ll be wearing these a lot!

For this first pair of #sneakerkit shoes I chose a simple black nubuck leather and the classic high-cut sneaker pattern from the website. The kit came with soles, insoles, leather, waxed thread, a needle, a hole punch and eyelets (which I didn’t use on this pair) – and it was really easy to make these, especially with the complete video tutorial on YouTube.

I already have ideas for other colours, fabrics and pattern modifications for future pairs. I’d also like to look into how to approach lining them, to make them slide on a bit more easily. My husband is pretty impressed with my new shoes 😛
