A second pair of DIY shoes

Finished making these bluish-grayish shoes at lunch time 😎
I’m struggling a bit with the eyelets though, they don’t want to stay put even when I punch them down as hard as I can with my punch tool… Maybe they’re not quite long enough for this leather, or maybe I’m just doing it wrong?
My husband walks a lot, so I’ll guess we’ll see how well these shoes hold up! In any case they don’t have any glue so should be easy enough to repair and replace parts.
