Small patchwork project bag
Finally got around to making a small project bag 🧶 (No more excuse to leave my knitting all over the place 😅)
This is the #zwstash bag, a zero waste pattern by @bag.uettes. It comes in three different sizes, and I made the smallest one (size S). It’s the perfect size for a sock knitting project!
The S cutting layout uses exactly 31.5x94cm of fabric. I made this with organic cotton canvas, and made extra pockets by patching pretty scraps together (from my espadrille sandals, overlocker cover, jeans, and overalls). I used the plain pockets from the cutting layout on the inside of the bag.
I really love how this cute little bag turned out, and I think I’ll add a small closure to prevent my projects falling out if the bag flops over. I’ll definitely make one or two in the other sizes for my bigger projects as well, but I’m still mulling over how I want them (dyed with madder? Embroidered? Patchwork pockets like this one?)…
